Your privacy is important to us. Patagobi is built on a fundamental principle of data privacy by design.
Patagobi uses WebRTC technology to establish a direct, peer-to-peer connection between devices. This means that when you transfer files or send messages, the data travels directly from your device to the recipient's device. Your files are never stored on our servers.
To establish the initial connection via the 6-digit code, we use a signaling server. Only the metadata required to connect your devices (such as connection IDs) passes through the signaling server. No file content or personal chat data is processed or retained by this server.
We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect email addresses, names, or any personally identifiable information (PII) to use the core service.
